Thanks for making our Christmas Party here at John Eagle Lincoln Mercury a hit. Everyone is talking about your magic. How did he do that???? You are great with young and old alike and your magic is the best I’ve seen. David Copperfield watch out!!!!

Thank you for a fantastic job! Never mind the drinks, food or music, you were the big hit of the evening! I only wish that I the hostess could have seen more of your amazing magic! But, most importantly, our guests loved you! They were dazzled! I am already working on the next reason (excuse) to have another party so that we can have you back.

Dear Mr. Tyler,
Thank you so much for your outstanding performance at our family event. You were a huge hit with the kids and parents alike! I am still hearing about some of the magic tricks- they are convinced I know how you did them! I had never hired a magician for a church event before, and was a bit nervous, but you exceeded my expectations in every way. You were so kind and patient with our rambunctious children and I sincerely appreciate you staying extra time. Thank you again for your wonderful show, and hard work. The next time we need an entertainer, you can be sure you’ll be getting a call from me! I will recommend you to all of my youth ministry colleagues. Please don’t hesitate to call if you ever need a reference for your work. Thank you, and God’s blessings!

Dear Diamond Jim:
Please accept my appreciation for your delightful, heart-warming and humorous demonstrations of magic, illusion and theatrics. Your annual presence at our Dads in the Hood Fatherhood Event has become a hallmark happening for the hundreds that gather. Your ability to balance respect for the sensitivities of the children in the audience with your unparalleled gift for appropriate humor with the parents clearly mixes with our goal of creating memorable moments for dads and their kids.
Your performances for our key business clients, whether at a holiday celebration or before a management forum have always met their mark by bringing ingenuity, relevant and intelligent humor and needed stress relief to all in attendance.
I am sure that you are aware of the impact that your gift for engaging people leaves behind. Of particular note was the moments of calm and ease that you brought to the child of one of our clients at the Christmas family event in Las Colinas a few years back. This young autistic child and his parents are still commenting about the window of opportunity that you helped them become aware of when engaging their child.
You do work magic.

Dear Mr. Tyler:
Thank you so much for providing us with your great talent as a strolling magician last Saturday night at our Eye Ball 2003. You certainly helped to make our event one to remember. Our guests really enjoyed the interaction with you during reception and dinner.
It is a pleasure working with you. You were both accommodating and professional. I cannot think of a single thing that was not absolutely perfect, and I received many compliments that were really for you.
Thanks again for helping to make the Eye Ball 2003 truly memorable.

On behalf of the cast of Ace’s, Eights, and Murder on the disORIENTed EXPRESS, the Palestine Public Library; and the Anderson County Literacy Council, I’d like to thank you for your performance Saturday, October 18, 2003. Your ability to identify and visit knowledgably with characters as Diamond Jim Carson was wonderful and added so much to your character. Our cast was impressed with your ability and certainly enjoyed your magical tricks and the stickpin through the neck at the end. What a wonderful way to shock the audience, and it worked.
David M. Smith
Dear Diamond Jim,
As expected, the attendees were amazed and intrigued by your magic. As I walked around the room I heard people making great compliments about your comical personality and they just could not figure out how you did those things right in front of their eyes! You made the party a big hit for everyone.
When I saw you at Pappadeaux’s, I knew you would be just perfect for our Mardi Gras party. You were a pleasure to work with and I will be happy to provide a reference for you any time.
City of Desoto Secretary
Dear Diamond Jim,
Just a comment or two on your sterling performance at Presbyterian Village North’s 25th anniversary celebration last Wednesday, June 1, 2005. The plaudits and compliments on your startling magic are still coming in. We are especially appreciative of your filling-in on stage, while the band took their break. Without that, we might have seen 70% of our “old geezer” audience heading for beddy-bye.
You were extremely gracious with our residents, and even treated our receptionist, at the end, with your magic tricks. Thanks again for helping us conclude our eight-day celebration with a BANG!

Thank you so much for making our Christmas party the “hit” of the season. You were so much fun. Everyone still talks about you. What a great talent you have.
Best wishes for 2006.

He not only takes command of the stage, he is very confident and comfortable entertaining our guests individually. Diamond Jim is a great talent; he is extremely knowledgeable of his craft and understands what is appropriate for different occasions. He is very artistic and creative. I wanted to send you an email thanking you for working us into your busy schedule at the last minute. I know it put your feet to the fire and tested your endurance, but rest assured the butterfly release party just wouldn’t be the same without you here. Absolutely everyone enjoyed your company, most especially Seth who worships you. You should have seen the look on his face when I told him about the party and the possibility of you teaching him a magic trick or two. He had a blast shadowing you all night and is still talking about it, which is unusual in the life of a seven year old living in the ADD culture of ours. From the other guests, probably the most frequent comment I heard about your magic act is that your wit and style are heads above what the audience had experienced before. Lots of folks thought Vegas would do well to have you headlining somewhere. Everyone was amazed and amused, and I’m not sure it gets any better than that… In short, you were a hit, as always!!

You sparkled and shined last night at the Crow Library. I really enjoyed your presentation and your moves were just terrific. Thanks for answering my amateur questions about coin magic. I hope to see you appear again soon, and I will tell others about you and your magic.

Diamond Jim Tyler is magnificent. He came to our home with an upbeat and positive attitude and took possession of the audience. They loved his show and were awed by his great tricks. Captivating, entertaining, good for small groups or large audiences. Diamond Jim Tyler is a one-man, fabulous event! Clarence Thomas has said he’d like to have you back next year.
I wanted to drop a note and express my thanks and appreciation for your entertainment and MAGIC at our VP event in San Antonio in April. Since this was a recognition event, it is key that our entertainment be GOOD. And you were! You were comfortable talking to the folks and showing your magic in small groups before the show and your stand-up show was phenomenal! Everyone was talking about you. From a meeting planning standpoint, I was thrilled. From a recognition standpoint, I was pleased because it made the event even more special for those being recognized.
Thanks again for making our program a success. You’ll be a hard act to follow!

You will be happy to know that the “Mythology of Mirrors” video featurette that you helped out with (for the MIRRORS motion picture starring Kiefer Sutherland) couldn’t have gone better. Not only is it one of my personal favorites (and believe me, I’ve produced many specials over the years), but the studio went crazy over it!
Once again you baffled, mystified, dazzled and delighted our employees at the annual SOURCECORP holiday party! You never cease to amaze our group with your innovative and seemingly impossible magic antics. For the last few years, we have looked so forward to your enchanting interaction with our guests, and you have never disappointed us. Keep creating magic and keep the folks guessing.

Diamond Jim Tyler lectured in Sydney on Thursday to a full house at Taylor’s Magic Shop and I just wanted to take a moment to encourage my friends across the Tasman to attend his lectures in Auckland, Palmerston North and Christchurch this coming week.
This is the first time I have met Diamond Jim Tyler but he truly is a really nice guy with a genuine passion for people and for magic. Rarely have I seen so much useable and commercial material in one evening. Jim had us laughing and amazed from the very first effect.
Some twenty or so effects were shown and it was obvious throughout that Jim is a ‘worker’ and thinks deeply about how to make his magic straightforward, entertaining and easy to follow. His tips and bits with the ring and string were clearly the result of thousands of performances. He has a pleasing and engaging style and is not ‘in your face’ like some of today’s hyped up, over enthusiastic close-up workers.
A sure sign of a good evening is an empty dealer table and Jim’s very reasonably priced books, DVDs and tricks were all gone by the end of the night.
Diamonds shine and are rare and valuable. An evening with this much shine and this much value is a rare thing too. Get along – you won’t regret it.
Taylor’s Magic Shop
Thanks a lot for the tour through Germany and Austria! It’s been a great success and I’ve received emails and phone calls from the clubs telling me that your lecture has been a blast. I’ve arranged lecture tours for a period of 16 years now and I can honestly say that this has been a real highlight. Lots of new material, astounding effects, clear explanations … and all that delivered in an entertaining manner. The material comes straight out of a working magician’s repertoire which sets it apart from all who simply present dealer shows. This feedback wouldn’t be complete without mentioning that you’ve definitely scored with your personality that has won everybody over immediately. I’m looking forward to seeing you again and hoping that you will consider touring here again one day.
Once again, thanks so much for being there, as a pre-game entertainer, at the Arlington Convention Center by Cowboy Stadium before the Super Bowl game. Your tricks were fabulous for all. My grandchildren were delighted when you came by our party table. Of all the problems and troubles that happened at the game, people should know how important your skills and role to entertain a forgotten entity, the children, were! Not only that, but your beaming, smiling personality really invited children into an adult’s world view and impressed adults and parents that you cared about their youngsters. I hope your pay was equivalent to Christina Aguilera who botched singing our national anthem!
I expect that your influence went a long way as it did for my family.
Thank you, again, for making the CSI:Genesis first anniversary celebration on April 10th, 2011 one for the memory book! Your talent is truly unequaled, and everyone there was spellbound and amazed. Incredible.
On behalf of the CSI:Genesis family, I send our deepest and most genuine appreciation,
Each year it gets harder to find acts to top the last convention. This year you did it in Spades … or should I say Diamonds! Not only did you do a tremendous lecture, you also did an awesome close up set. Thanks for being a star at this years convention.
-Shawn Farquhar (PCAM 2011 President & FISM winner)
I saw you last night at the banquet. I thought I was going to die from laughing so hard during your stand-up show! Also the two ladies and my son that came with me did too! I have already told several friends about your performance. Will you be performing in Ft Worth comedy clubs anytime soon? Is there anyway to stay in contact with your calendar or schedule via the internet? Thank you so very, very much for presenting one of the BEST shows we’ve ever had! You were superb!!! I hope we will be able to see you again!
Carter Blood Care
Thanks for performing at our wedding reception. You are such an amazing and skilled person. We can’t wait to have you out this summer for something more intimate in the back yard because we just couldn’t get enough. So many of our friends plan to book you for events; at least three mentioned that they wish they could afford to have you follow them around constantly. We feel the same. You just can’t get enough Diamond Jim!!!
I wanted to thank you for the great job you did at the dinner. We have received so many wonderful comments about your humor and magic. I will definitely be recommending you to whomever may need super entertainment for an event. We will soon be reserving your services again. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.
-Shelda Upshaw (COO Taco Casa)
As I am sure you know you WOWED the Breakfast Club. I hope you get some follow up “business”. I have already received a number of compliments for arranging for you to perform. You are in a great line of work and have perfected it. You leave the audience laughing and feeling “good”. That is certainly what we need more of in these times and in this world. If I can ever do anything for you, please let me know. THANKS again for making our meeting one of the best in thirty years!!!

Thank you so much for enhancing our party last night in such an enchanting way. For Bob and I, and, in turn, to our guests, you are not “just” a magician of great skill. Your easy banter with your “subjects” is very attractive and comfortable….and greatly adds to your presentations. I know we were only one of three gigs you had last night…..but you had the grace to act as though we were the only one! Many thanks for joining us. You were more than a tremendous hit. Best wishes for continued success. It is so very, very well deserved.
Diamond Jim was brought to my 30th birthday party as a complete surprise. He put on the most incredible show I have ever seen! The guests were all blown away by his magic and talent. He is entertaining and incredibly professional. It was the best birthday gift in the world! Thank you Diamond Jim.

I started out trying to find some cool talent for my engagement party. Little did I know how BAD ASS you were. In fact I’ve never seen REAL MAGIC like you do in my life. I was amazed the whole night you were doing tricks for everyone. I felt like a big kid all night long and couldn’t get enough of it. My mind was blown. Then, the proposal…. you knocked it out of the ballpark with this one!! My family will never forget that night. Thanks Jim.
Thank you for being a part of our celebration for Parkwood International once again. We love having you! You are the best we have ever seen. Thank you and have a great year.

You are like family after numerous performances for us over the years AND you’re a rockstar! I can’t tell you how many people stopped me and said how amazing you are, or were looking for you to entertain them last night. If anything we may need a DJT clone. It’s always a pleasure seeing you. Thanks for always amazing us!

We have used Diamond Jim two years in a row for our parties. We have used other entertainers before but have found that Diamond Jim is the best. He is very personal and professional at the same time. Both his stand-up show and strolling close-up magic are spectacular. There are always oohs of amazement and laughters of delight from those gathered around Jim. Plus he always has new tricks to show us. We plan to make him a regular part of our parties in the future.
–Andrew Shea, MD
Thank you so much for tonight! Since you left folks have been trying to figure out your magic tricks. After the event ended people began emailing me and telling me how incredible you were. They are saying that you are the best they’ve ever seen and that it was their favorite event we’ve put on. Our minds are officially blown! Thank you!!
Tarrant County Medical Society Alliance
This man is incredible. From his character & witty personality to his jaw-dropping magic! My first experience with DJT was in December of 2005 at a company holiday party. I was with the company for 11 years to follow. Every year, Diamond Jim’s role was a huge part in making our parties a success. Throughout each 5+ hour nights, every single year, he shocked & amazed us as well as our guests. He left everyone in disbelief of what they saw! Several long time clients couldn’t wait until the next holiday party to see what Diamond Jim would have in store! His ability to draw the attention of our guests, getting everyone to interact and then blow them away with his talent, is simply top notch!!!
Recently, myself & four friends put together a fundraiser for a lifelong friend battling cancer. We had very little time. I found myself four days from the event worrying that something would go wrong & thinking “we’re missing something” to help make the event a hit. That’s when Diamond Jim came to mind. Took a shot in the dark & messaged him through Facebook to see if a) he was available under such short notice & b) could we even afford it since our goal was to keep costs at the bare minimum having every bit go towards our friend. Diamond Jim quickly responded & just so happened to have that night open. He informed me of his rate & I told him I would let him know if somehow we could work it out. Although I knew most likely, we couldn’t. Bummer……. Until… the evening of the event…. 7:00, Diamond Jim out of the kindness of his heart, magically appeared!! You would have thought I hit the lottery with my reaction to seeing him walk through the door….He said “I’m here to work a fundraiser”! And so he did. At no cost. Wow!!! He went straight to the crowd & shocked & amazed once again!! Just as I knew he would!! Not only that, but he stayed the entire length of the 4 1/2 hour event. I had several people reach out to me afterwards wanting Diamond Jim’s info. Because he’s THAT good! To hear the reactions & see the look on people’s faces when Diamond Jim is at work, is priceless!! I don’t think in all the 13 events I was lucky enough to get to see his work, I ever saw the same trick twice unless someone requested it!!
Good man, lots of tricks in his bag, EXTREMELY talented & will NEVER disappoint!
Diamond Jim Tyler is a Texas Treasure. I have had the pleasure of witnessing Jim perform across multiple venues and have partnered with him on both corporate and charity events. He is one of the best. Magic is an art that sometimes instructs, often amuses and always entertains. Jim is always prepared even for the most unexpected demands on his ability to amuse or mystify, and he can sustain his reputation with nothing but his nimble fingers, making his performances all the more startling. Stand-up, close-up or strolling, Diamond Jim Tyler will steal the show.
