Your ability to identify and visit knowledgably with characters as Diamond Jim Carson was wonderful and added so much to your character. Our cast was impressed with your ability and certainly enjoyed your magical tricks and the stickpin through the neck at the end. What a wonderful way to shock the audience, and it worked.

I am still hearing about some of the magic tricks- they are convinced I know how you did them! I had never hired a magician for a church event before, and was a bit nervous, but you exceeded my expectations in every way. Just a comment or two on your sterling performance at Presbyterian Village North’s 25th anniversary celebration last Wednesday, June 1, 2005. The plaudits and compliments on your startling magic are still coming in. We are especially appreciative of your filling-in on stage, while the band took their break. Without that, we might have seen 70% of our “old geezer” audience heading for beddy-bye. You were extremely gracious with our residents, and even treated our receptionist, at the end, with your magic tricks. Thanks again for helping us conclude our eight-day celebration with a BANG!

Our guests really enjoyed the interaction with you during reception and dinner. It is a pleasure working with you. You were both accommodating and professional. You will be happy to know that the “Mythology of Mirrors” video featurette that you helped out with (for the MIRRORS motion picture starring Kiefer Sutherland) couldn’t have gone better. Not only is it one of my personal favorites (and believe me, I’ve produced many specials over the years), but Sony studios went crazy over it!

Once again I want to express our sincere thanks for your performance this past week in the Close-Up Gallery. We know that this is yet another example of your commitment to The Academy of Magical Arts and the Magic Castle. Each year it gets harder to find acts to top the last convention. This year you did it in Spades … or should I say Diamonds! Not only did you do a tremendous lecture, you also did an awesome close up set. Thanks for being a star at this years convention.

Please accept my appreciation for your delightful, heart-warming and humorous demonstrations of magic, illusion and theatrics. Your annual presence at our Dads in the Hood Fatherhood Event has become a hallmark happening for the hundreds that gather. Your ability to balance respect for the sensitivities of the children in the audience with your unparalleled gift for appropriate humor with the parents clearly mixes with our goal of creating memorable moments for dads and their kids. Your performances for our key business clients, whether at a holiday celebration or before a management forum have always met their mark by bringing ingenuity, relevant and intelligent humor and needed stress relief to all in attendance. I am sure that you are aware of the impact that your gift for engaging people leaves behind. Of particular note was the moments of calm and ease that you brought to the child of one of our clients at the Christmas family event in Las Colinas a few years back. This young autistic child and his parents are still commenting about the window of opportunity that you helped them become aware of when engaging their child. You do work magic.

Thank you so much for providing such wonderful entertainment for our 6th Annual Board and Commission Banquet on February 21, 2004. As expected, the attendees were amazed and intrigued by your magic. As I walked around the room I heard people making great compliments about your comical personality and they just could not figure out how you did those things right in front of their eyes! You made the party a big hit for everyone. When I saw you at Pappadeaux’s, I knew you would be just perfect for our Mardi Gras party. You were a pleasure to work with and I will be happy to provide a reference for you any time.

He not only takes command of the stage, he is very confident and comfortable entertaining our guests individually. Diamond Jim is a great talent; he is extremely knowledgeable of his craft and understands what is appropriate for different occasions. He is very artistic and creative. I wanted to drop a note and express my thanks and appreciation for your entertainment and MAGIC at our VP event in San Antonio in April. Since this was a recognition event, it is key that our entertainment be GOOD. And you were! You never cease to amaze our group with your innovative and seemingly impossible magic antics. For the last few years, we have looked so forward to your enchanting interaction with our guests, and you have never disappointed us. Keep creating magic and keep the folks guessing.

Diamond Jim Tyler is a Texas Treasure. I have had the pleasure of witnessing Jim perform across multiple venues and have partnered with him on both corporate and charity events. He is one of the best. Magic is an art that sometimes instructs, often amuses and always entertains. Jim is always prepared even for the most unexpected demands on his ability to amuse or mystify, and he can sustain his reputation with nothing but his nimble fingers, making his performances all the more startling. Stand-up, close-up or strolling, Diamond Jim Tyler will steal the show.

This man is incredible. From his character & witty personality to his jaw-dropping magic! My first experience with DJT was in December of 2005 at a company holiday party. I was with the company for 11 years to follow. Every year, Diamond Jim’s role was a huge part in making our parties a success. Throughout each 5+ hour nights, every single year, he shocked & amazed us as well as our guests. He left everyone in disbelief of what they saw! Several long time clients couldn’t wait until the next holiday party to see what Diamond Jim would have in store! His ability to draw the attention of our guests, getting everyone to interact and then blow them away with his talent, is simply top notch!!! Recently, myself & four friends put together a fundraiser for a lifelong friend battling cancer. We had very little time. I found myself four days from the event worrying that something would go wrong & thinking “we’re missing something” to help make the event a hit. That’s when Diamond Jim came to mind. Took a shot in the dark & messaged him through Facebook to see if a) he was available under such short notice & b) could we even afford it since our goal was to keep costs at the bare minimum having every bit go towards our friend. Diamond Jim quickly responded & just so happened to have that night open. He informed me of his rate & I told him I would let him know if somehow we could work it out. Although I knew most likely, we couldn’t. Bummer……. Until… the evening of the event…. 7:00, Diamond Jim out of the kindness of his heart, magically appeared!! You would have thought I hit the lottery with my reaction to seeing him walk through the door….He said “I’m here to work a fundraiser”! And so he did. At no cost. Wow!!! He went straight to the crowd & shocked & amazed once again!! Just as I knew he would!! Not only that, but he stayed the entire length of the 4 1/2 hour event. I had several people reach out to me afterwards wanting Diamond Jim’s info. Because he’s THAT good! To hear the reactions & see the look on people’s faces when Diamond Jim is at work, is priceless!! I don’t think in all the 13 events I was lucky enough to get to see his work, I never saw the same trick twice unless someone requested it!! Good man, lots of tricks in his bag, EXTREMELY talented & will NEVER disappoint!

Thank you so much for tonight! Since you left folks have been trying to figure out your magic tricks. After the event ended people began emailing me and telling me how incredible you were. They are saying that you are the best they’ve ever seen and that it was their favorite event we’ve put on. Our minds are officially blown! Thank you!!

I wanted to send you an email thanking you for working us into your busy schedule at the last minute. I know it put your feet to the fire and tested your endurance, but rest assured the butterfly release party just wouldn’t be the same without you here. Absolutely everyone enjoyed your company, most especially Seth who worships you. You should have seen the look on his face when I told him about the party and the possibility of you teaching him a magic trick or two. He had a blast shadowing you all night and is still talking about it, which is unusual in the life of a seven year old living in the ADD culture of ours. From the other guests, probably the most frequent comment I heard about your magic act is that your wit and style are heads above what the audience had experienced before. Lots of folks thought Vegas would do well to have you headlining somewhere. Everyone was amazed and amused, and I’m not sure it gets any better than that… In short, you were a hit, as always!!
